PERPTools raises $8M to build AI-native perpetual trading platform

PERPTools has successfully secured $8 million through a pair of token fundraising rounds.

This capital influx arrives as the team responsible for DEXTools prepares to scale up decentralized trading infrastructure for its AI-native perpetual trading platform.

The financial backing consists of an initial $3 million pre-seed round, secured at a fully diluted valuation of $30 million and spearheaded by Orderly Network alongside DEXTools Ventures.

This was succeeded by a $5 million seed round reaching an $80 million FDV, featuring contributions from BigBrain Holdings, NEAR, Animoca Brands, Sfermion, and Shima Capital.

Capital raising kicked off in November 2025, with the pre-seed phase wrapping up in December and the seed phase concluding early in 2026.

PERPTools targets perpetual trading infrastructure

Perpetual futures serve as the foundational focus for the platform’s architecture.

Perpetual futures routinely drive more than $10 billion in daily trading volume on decentralized exchanges, according to the enterprise.

To power its ecosystem, PERPTools harnesses Orderly Network’s omnichain liquidity engine—an orderbook-driven infrastructure engineered to deliver shared liquidity across multiple blockchains natively, eliminating the need for user asset bridging.

Management noted that collaborating with Orderly grants access to institutional-grade liquidity standards throughout the exchange’s development phase.

Evgen Tokarev, chief executive officer of PERPTools, explained that the venture leverages the established audience of DEXTools while relying on Orderly’s backend for trade execution.

“We built the execution layer for 30 million traders already inside DEXTools,” Tokarev said.

He pointed out that the platform’s beta phase achieved $240 million in trading volume, suggesting that merging discovery tools with execution capabilities minimizes obstacles for market participants.

Frederic Fernández, co-founder and chief marketing officer at DEXTools, stated that PERPTools bridges the gap by moving the DEXTools ecosystem from simple market discovery straight into active trade execution.

“DEXTools became the place where DeFi found its next trade. PERPTools is the natural next chapter, where the trade itself happens without ever leaving,” Fernández said.

Ran Yi, co-founder and chief executive officer of Orderly Network, remarked that PERPTools effectively pairs an established community base with Orderly’s underlying liquidity framework.

Three products already live

Leading up to its anticipated token generation event, PERPTools has already deployed three active products.

Its Perp DEX operates as a mainnet-live, non-custodial perpetual exchange.

The system accommodates long and short positioning, leverage options, and cross-margin functionality, utilizing Orderly’s omnichain central limit order book for trade settlement.

Additionally, the enterprise introduced AI Arena, functioning as a marketplace dedicated to autonomous onchain trading agents.

Participants can launch an individual agent by defining natural language strategy descriptions, leverage boundaries, and risk thresholds.

These automated agents execute trades utilizing the existing liquidity pools found on the Perp DEX.

Additional participants have the option to allocate USDC funds into specific agents, while agent leaderboards are organized according to audited 30-day onchain profit and loss metrics.

A third offering, Tap Prediction, supplies real-time prediction markets powered by perpetual price feeds.

Participants are allowed to stake starting from $0.10, unlocking potential payout multipliers reaching up to 25 times their initial stake.

The organization reports that this specific feature boasts a prize pool surpassing $1 million and brings in revenue ahead of the formal token release.

Focus shifts to execution ahead of TGE

Having finalized both financing phases, PERPTools announced it is turning its attention away from capital acquisition and toward operational execution.

The enterprise intends to leverage its technical framework alongside DEXTools’ distribution channels to engineer a unified trading destination encompassing both market discovery and execution.

PERPTools is aiming for a Q4 2026 token generation event while it pushes forward with the expansion of its perpetual trading utilities and AI-driven trading systems.
